ABX Recruitment Terms of Business for Permanent Recruitment
ABX recruitment aims to provide you with a valuable service to enhance your business. We like to keep things simple and easy to understand, so here is a summary of the information you need and what you agree to, when you use us. (For full details please see our Terms and Conditions document, or request a copy from us).
What is the benefit of using us exclusively?
Using us exclusively makes sense! You are buying our time and exclusivity means that we dedicate 100% of our effort to your assignment as we are not vying with a pool of other agencies or sources which may, or may not, lead to a placement. This enables us to offer you a discount on our services! We also cover you by promising that if we do not find the right people for you within 30 days, you may switch to a non-exclusive arrangement for the same fee.
Permanent Placement Fee Structure
We have 3 simple flat fee packages for you to choose from, according to your needs. Our low overheads mean we can offer you highly competitive fees. If you find a lower fee for the same service anywhere else we’d be surprised, but we’ll beat it!
We also cover you with generous replacement guarantees.

Non-Exclusive Assignments
If you decide to use other agencies or other means to source your candidates as well as ABX Recruitment, we charge a higher fee because we cannot guarantee we will make a placement, which makes our costs higher.
Extras that our Packages don’t include
Your placement fee does not include newspaper or media advertising or travel and related costs. Any extra costs will be agreed with you prior to commencing the work.
How and when do you need to pay us?
The balance of your invoice is only payable when our Candidate successfully commences employment with you. Non-payment within these terms can result in interest charges and cancellation of your candidate guarantee – not recommended!
For our Simply CV's package the balance is payable prior to commencement of the assignment.
Replacement guarantees and refund
In the unlikely event that the candidate supplied by ABX Recruitment proves unsatisfactory to you, within your guarantee period, we agree to provide a replacement, at no charge, for the same position as long as; you have paid us within the agreed payment terms, you have not made the candidate redundant or transferred them to another position and the position is the same.
If the replacement is not required for any reason, the original payment is then not refundable and is not a credit for future positions. Note, that any replacements provided are for one occasion only.
Privacy
ABX Recruitment is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 and takes seriously its obligations in relation to collection, use and access of personal information held in relation to candidates. All details on clients and candidates are kept confidential and are used only to assist in the recruitment process. All introductions of candidates are confidential, the passing of any information to third parties, which results in the appointment of any referred candidate, shall render you, the client, liable for the placement fee.
Indemnity
You, the client, agree to indemnify and keep ABX Recruitment Pty Ltd indemnified against any and all actions, claims, demands, damages, liabilities and costs or expenses arising from, out of, or in respect to the company’s management of the placement and the introduction/appointment of a candidate by the client, provided the company acts responsibly in fulfilling its obligations pursuant to this agreement. Any candidates referred to the client either verbally or in writing will remain candidates of ABX Recruitment for a period of 12 months from the date of the initial introduction. Should any candidate be employed during that period in any position with the client’s company, the fee for that placement is payable to ABX Recruitment, by the client.
Please note, that due to its nature, ABX Recruitment cannot take responsibility for the accuracy of information supplied by candidates or from references obtained from candidates’ previous employers. Clients may complete their own verification checks of a candidate’s skills, employment history, personal conduct, professional qualifications, medical certificates or work permits. ABX Recruitment, its agents or its employees accept no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage caused to the client by the introduction and employment of any candidate.
How do we accept ABX Recruitment’s Terms and Conditions?
If you employ, contact, or interview a candidate referred to you by ABX Recruitment, or, alternatively, state, in writing, that you accept our Terms and Conditions, you are deemed to be in acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
