ABX Recruitment Pty Ltd ACN 136 117 596 as trustee for the ABX Recruitment Trust ("ABX Recruitment") undertakes to act in accordance with The Privacy Act 1988 with respect to the personal information ABX Recruitment collects, uses, stores and discloses about you.
ABX Recruitment supports the National Privacy Principles. Subject to The Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to access your personal information that ABX Recruitment holds and request a change to that information.
ABX Recruitment will only collect information that is necessary for the purposes for which it is provided.
Sensitive information is a special category of personal information under The Privacy Act 1988. It is information or an opinion about you, including membership of a professional or trade association or membership of a trade union; criminal record; health or disability.
As outlined in The Privacy Act 1988, sensitive information can, in most cases, only be disclosed with your consent.
When ABX Recruitment obtains personal information ABX Recruitment will not disclose it to a third party without your consent, either verbal or written.
Before ABX Recruitment sends your resume to a third party, it will obtain your prior consent to the release of that information.
ABX Recruitment will not disclose personal information or sensitive information to a party unless it is directly required for the purpose for which it was collected.
When conducting reference checks, ABX Recruitment will only release information that is necessary to obtain a reference.
ABX Recruitment will ensure that the information ABX Recruitment collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up to date, by allowing you, wherever possible, to access the details and request changes.
Measures have been taken to restrict access to your personal information and sensitive information held by ABX Recruitment. Personal information may be stored electronically or in hard copy at ABX Recruitment's premises. Access to your personal information will only be available to ABX Recruitment's employees and contractors who need to know or require access to your information to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.
Copies of our Privacy Statement will be made available to you on request. Subject to some exceptions that are set out in the National Privacy Principles, you can gain access to the personal information that ABX Recruitment holds about you.
If you wish to obtain access to your personal information you should contact the ABX Recruitment Privacy Officer, Marc Vella on 07 5563 2100. ABX recruitment will require you to verify your identity before you can gain access to your personal information. ABX Recruitment reserves the right to charge a fee for all data retrieval, copies, amendments and specialist feedback. Access to your personal information may not be immediate because ABX Recruitment may need to retrieve information from storage.
If ABX Recruitment makes any changes to its Privacy Policy, ABX Recruitment will post these changes on its website.
